Spot the Tot

Last week there was a story in the news about a toddler that got run over by his grandma. The child lost a toy underneath the grandma's truck and she went and go in her car and didn't see the boy and ran him over. It is so sad. They life flighted him and he was in the hospital all night. He ended up dying. I just wanted to remind everyone to please drive slow in neighborhoods and to also check your car before you back up. I get a little worried having a Down Syndrome brother. He doesn't know not to run out in the street or to not go underneath a car to get his basketball. I hope that everyone can be a little more cautious this spring and summer. {That is all.}

Going Green

In honor of earth day I challenge everyone to get a little greener. Here are a few ways that we can go green!

1. Take shorter showers.

2. Ditch the water bottle. Buy a reusable water bottle. I have a red one that I love.

3. Ride a bike.

4. Get off of junk email lists! ( i didnt know this helped but aparently it does)

5. Print on both sides of paper.

6. Support local farmers. (Shop this summer at Tagge's! Mmm...)

7. Avoid drive-thru windows. Park and go inside.

8. Take old clothes to the D.I.

9. Buy products with the Green Seal.

10. Buy one Organic item a week.

today is earth day. happy earth day. 

Moving

I have been trying to pack up my apartment all week. It is so weird that it is finally time to move out of my apartment. So many things have happened while living there- I started dating a boy, I got sick and had to go to the hospital, Katie and Marg moved out, me and Mandy became way good friends, I stopped dating a boy, it has snowed, rained and been hot while I have been living at my apartment. It went by so fast. I am moving on Friday to apartment 110 at King Henry. I am moving in with Niki (a girl that I lived with last summer) and Heather (we were in the Relief Society presidency together). I am pretty excited!!!! I hate packing but it is so worth it once you move into your new place. Stop by and visit my new apartment!!
