Jane's friend shower was on Saturday. It turned out to be a success. I was very pleased with everything. A lot of girls came. She got a lot of fun presents. Check out how cute my cupcakes turned out. I did it all by myself!!

It's official

Last night was the membership ceremony for Sigma. I am no longer a pledge. I am an active member of Sigma. It was a really cool ceremony. Some girls gave talks. I got up and bore my testimony. I could really feel the spirit of sisterhood. I'm excited. At the end of the ceremony you get to sign the Sigma book. The book was started in the 60's. I looked through it and I found my mom and my aunt. Look how funny...

This is my Aunt Heidi. She is now Heidi Lawrence. I like how all the other signatures on this page are done in very nice, fancy cursive handwriting and then you have Heidi's teenager handwriting. I think it is funny.

Summary of my life

I have been so bad at blogging lately. My life has been crazy. Here is a summary of my life right now (don't worry you aren't missin out on too much).

I'm taking 3 classes right now at the BYU Salt Lake Center. I am taking Writing about art, American Heritage and Math. This math class I am taking is taking over my life. It seriously is. All I can think about is math. Any free second I have of the day I spend doing math. And the sad thing is I still am clueless about it. Good times with math.

I'm in Sigma and I'm lovin it. Next week is the membership ceremony and I officially become an active Sigma. We had a pledge retreat last night. I was so so tired. (Story of my life) I only lasted until 11:30 and then I had to come home and sleep. 

Last week me and all my friends went up to Oakley to sleep over at Jessica's cabin. It was her birthday. Love her! It was so much fun. My friends are awesome. I am so happy that they are all home from their missions. I missed them so much. My friends can make anything fun. I am so grateful for them and I hope I stay friends with them forever.

I am loving my job. I have 8 kids in my class. It's really weird what happens when you spend so many hours with babies. I am starting to think of them as my friends. It's weird to explain. We have the same connection as if we are sitting and having a long conversation with each other. I can read each kid perfectly and I always know what they want. Sometimes I almost feel betrayed when they start being mean to me. I fell almost like they aren't trusting me. Yesterday I was holding my favorite Mallory. I was trying to put her to sleep and she was crying and crying. I was almost like hey Mallory it's me Lacee. We are friends and you aren't supose to be mean to me. Haha it's funny what hangin out with 8 babies will do to ya. I love them. I'm gonna try and take some pictures of them this week. Camila rolled over for the first time. That was exciting. Her twin Juliana is close. I almost feel bad telling the parents that these things happen because I want them to experience it first. Oh well that's what they get for leaving their kids from 7am-6pm all day.

My dad just got put in a bisphoric of the singles ward in my home stake. We all went to his ward last Sunday. Me and Dallin are going to go to that ward from now on. It looked like a good ward. It's weird because I'm used to BYU singles wards and how they run. My dad's ward is so different. It will be fun. 

That's pretty much all that is goin on with me. Woo hoo!!

I love that I figured out how to make cute invitations. We had to change the time because Laura is a gomes and didn't tell me she had to take the LSAT. It's ok because it will still work out. I am so excited!!!

I am so proud of my self. Look how cute these invitations turned out!! I am having a shower for Jane. It is so weird that she is getting married. I hope the shower turns out as cute as the invitations did.

Ponyo

My parents have been out of town and I have been watching Austin. We decided to go to a movie tonight. We saw Ponyo. Oh my gosh! I am obsessed with it. It is such a cute movie. I think Japan movies are so cool. The movie is about a 5 year old boy named Sosuke. He finds a gold fish on the beach and names it Ponyo. Ponyo falls in love with Sosuke and uses her magic and turns into a 5 year old girl. Her dad is a wizard and her mom is kinda like mother nature of the ocean. Nature becomes off balance because Ponyo is suppose to be a fish and not a girl. Her parents make a deal if her and Sosuke are in love then she can stay a girl and the balance of nature will be restored. Sosuke and Ponyo fall in love and Ponyo stays a girl forever. Ahh you have to see this movie and then we can chat about it. 

8 babies!

I now have 8 babies in my class. I totally have favorites and I totally have ones that I don't like. Here are the kids in my class:

Camilia: She is a twin. She is so good. I have only ever seen her cry when she is hungry which is rare.

Juliana: She is the other twin. She also only cries when she is hungry. 

Jayden: He is so cute. He has these huge blue eyes. He is the trouble maker of the class. He likes to hit the other babies. I love cuddling with him.

Drake: He looks like Lindsey's baby, Drew. Ever since he started he has had a cold. He is extra cuddly because of that.

Mallory: I'm just gonna come out and say it.. She is my #1 favorite. She is my girl. She is the smallest in the class. Her cry is so sad. She loves me and loves when I hold her. I am the only one that knows how to calm her down.

Evelynn: She is probably my 2nd favorite. Her mom is my favorite parent. Evie wont ever take a nap because she is very social. She always has to be a part of the crowd.

Island: Yes her name is Island. She is a little bit older. All she does is cry. She cries a lot because she wants attention. She has a hard time sleeping. She is a newer baby in the class. She started after everyone else did.

Neil: Me and Neil aren't friends. I try really hard but he doesn't like me. He is the oldest in the class. He is 8 months old. All he does is cry. His favorite thing to do is to put milk in his mouth and then spit it at me. Wow!
